Halloween’s over, but we’re still gaga over Zoë’s costume this year. When you have a daughter who’s determined to wear something unique every year (she was an ice cream cone last year, a gumball machine the previous year, and a cupcake the year prior), you can bet she will request for another DIY creation.
This year, she wanted to be a claw machine. The truth? It was another project this DIY-loving momma took on with excitement.
Zoë is that girl who comes up with wild costume ideas. I, on the other hand, am that mother who’s crazy enough to go along with it. Last Halloween, she wanted to be a cupcake. This year, to keep up with the sweet treat tradition, she asked to be a gumball machine.
Come check out how I made this no-sew gumball machine costume, guaranteed to make the cutest, most colorful little outfit that’s perfect for some Halloween dress-up fun. No tricks, just treats; I promise that it’ll be quick and easy. Your little ones will be ready for all the fun in no time!
When your stubborn little girl insists on being a dessert for Halloween, you do what every crazy mother does– DIY everything by hand, of course! With a bit of browsing on Pinterest to get a few costume ideas, I finally came up with my own sweet treat, perfect enough for my cupcake-loving little girl!
Last year, I embarked on a 100 Day Project and challenged myself to make and create art every day. With my theme #100DaysOfArtByAnnings, I worked on nurturing my creativity using different mediums and styles. My first 50 days went by like a breeze, and I reached The Half-Way Mark July of 2016. The last half of the challenge took longer to finish than I had planned, missing some weeks, but finally, all done!
