There’s no denying that we love The Yumbox. I write and post about it often, because it really is our choice of lunchbox. That’s why when BrightBrands PH invited Zoë and I to the first ever Yumbox Workshop last Saturday, we just had to go. We knew it would be the perfect activity for some mother-daughter bonding, and we definitely weren’t disappointed.
Know somebunny who would love a cute little treat in their lunchbox? It’s back to school for some students in the Philippines, so I thought I’d share the simple Bunny Bento I prepared for Zoë a few months ago.
Check out what hopped inside the Yumbox!
I have always been a fan of packing school meals, bento-style. Having a picky toddler, it was the only way I could get my little girl to try out different food when she started preschool. For the past two years, she used the same Sistema Small Split To Go lunchbox (I know, how boring, right?), so when we were preparing to buy back-to-school supplies for her first year in grade school, I knew it was time for a lunchbox change.
Our criteria for the perfect lunchbox? Durable, compact, colorful, kid-friendly, leak-proof and one that would make packing food easier. We checked out several different containers, but there was only one that fit the bill– The Yumbox!
Make way! Make way! Zoë turned 6!
When it came to pick a theme for her Birthday party this year, Zoë didn’t have to think twice about choosing a Moana inspired celebration. She has been obsessed with the movie ever since we watched it in the cinema, so it was a no-brainer choice, really.
With less than two weeks to plan the house party and work on all the DIYs, it was a mad rush to get everything done, but I think we pulled it off. Come check out what the ocean breeze swept into our little party!
